In collaboration with his colleague and a long-time mentor, Nebojša Jovan Živković, Karlečik organized a tour that consisted of seven concerts of a percussion ensemble “AU-AU” consisted of students from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. The concerts were held in different cities (Novi Sad, Zrenjanin, Sombor, Vršac, Sremska Mitrovica, Subotica, and Šabac) in an intensive six-day period in October 2022. This Project aimed to create a platform on which the students of our University could perform a whole evening concert with a challenging program, but also to promote Percussion instruments to a broader range of audience in the hope that a long-term result would be a rise in interest to visit future concerts of ensembles and soloist on Percussions and to encourage children to learn to play this instruments. During every concert, Professor Živković and Karlečik took time to explain the instruments to the audience. This Project was funded by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia.
